Jumbo Questions
Common Questions: 1.) Are Patent Pending Jumbo Broadheads Serrated?
Answer: Technically, no...our invention uses planned mechanical cutting that is unique to both straight edge and serrated cutting broadheads within the prior art. One of our many Patent Pending utility claims is that broadheads in the prior art have one cut-on-contact tip. Our Jumbo invention has multiple cut-on-contact tips. In our Patent Pending Jumbo invention there are no scalloped, serrated, half-moon, sawtooth or any other form of serrated cutting devices in-between the interrupted planned mechanical cutting bevel of the Jumbo by design. While we love primitive archery based stone points and all stone points are serrated with perpetual EBR - Edge-Bevel Retention; Our Jumbo invention is different in that it uses planned mechanical cutting to increase the number of cut-on-contact broadhead tips rather than increase the surface area of the serrated cutting of the bevel like all stone points and steel broadheads in the prior art utilize. This results in propensity for passthrough, GSB - Gunshot Style Butchering blood on the ground via the best EBI - Edge-Bevel Integrity and EBR - Edge-Bevel Retention we have been able to achieve at Bishop Archery to date.
Common Questions: 2.) Can Patent Pending Jumbo be duplicated without litigation?
For the next twenty years we will be emulated, but not duplicated. GSB - Gunshot Style Butchering as detailed in The Edge Bevel Integrity Continuum is one of the many functions of our invention. In addition to these claims we have blade over shaft coupled with planned mechanical cutting claims in addition to numerous other claims to prevent duplication by competitors. For the droves of copycat archery companies that have watered down and attempted to emulate our Non-Ashby style BMA - Bidirectional Mechanical Advantage driven S7 tool steel single-bevels with substantially shorter heads, thicker blades and steeper than 25 degree bevels...be put on notice: Paying to license a high enough quantity of Jumbo's from us is guaranteed for you...litigation is not. Cease and desist before you even think about trying to emulate or water down our intellectual property or face impending litigation.
Common Questions: 3.) Does Jumbo guarantee GSB blood on the ground?
As far as bloodtrails, there is nothing wrong with serrated, straight-edge, single-bevel, double-bevel, micro-bevel and/or compound bevels as we have developed and used them all over the years. While bloodtrails are unpredictable by nature - shooting big game while developing Jumbo and other Bishop Archery prototypes, along with shooting our long list of production broadhead models over the years has lead to the rise of Jumbo into our own quivers for traditional, compound and crossbow. This is the driving force behind Bishop Archery to buck the system and produce no guff archery gear beyond watered down pro-shop and bowhunting pop culture. All of our steel footed arrows, broadheads and gear at Bishop Archery are required to perpetually fight to the death for our own personal crossbow, compound bow and traditional archery quivers over and over again. This obsession is very different from how the archery industry and our copycaters produce archery gear.
Common Questions: 4.) Is Jumbo an illegal barbed or an illegal expandable broadhead in my state?
While barbed broadheads are legal in many states and illegal in a few states....Jumbo is NOT barbed and Jumbo is legal in all fifty states. Additionally, great care was taken to coordinate with NYSDEC to ensure our Patent Pending Jumbo complies with the NYS 2 millimeter rule. While Jumbo utilizes planned mechanical cutting, it is NOT a mechanical NOR an expandable broadhead. Jumbo is legal in states where expandable broadheads are illegal. Lastly, to reiterate, Jumbo is NOT a barbed broadhead and Jumbo is NOT an expandable broadhead.
(Jumbo is Legal in ALL Fifty States)
