NOTICE -  The side by side picture comparison below with the old wheels on the left side of the picture and the new wheels on the right side of the picture. These are not the same as the standard smaller diameter 8 inch skinnier paper wheels that we use to offer. 

They are around twice the material and weight of the smaller wheels and are twice as wide.  In addition to cutting sharpening times in half the height of paper wheel and width achieve several positive bevel performance advantages.  The larger diameter of them is also helpful for keeping bevels as uniform as possible as the larger diameter the paper wheel the flatter the contact patch is on the bevel.  Same awesome made in USA proprietary gentle paper material and process as always.  These are NOT MADE OF MDF!!!

INCLUDED - One 10 X 1 1/4 inch silicon carbide gritted paper wheel and one 10 X 1 1/4 inch slotted paper wheel, jewelers rouge, wax, extra silicon carbide grit and instructions are included.  

NOT INCLUDED - 8 inch bench grinder. Home Depot, Lowe's, Harbor Freight, or wherever you want to source an 8 inch bench grinder is fine. Typically the less options on the grinder the better, as they just need to turn the paper wheels.  It has to be an 8 inch bench grinder and not a 6 inch bench grinder.
